Based in London for the majority of his career, Daniel has advised on several landmark transactions and strategies in the financial markets:

  • Loan portfolio sales and financing 

Specifically, Daniel played a key role on the following:

  • The establishment of the Greene King whole business securitisation

  • The establishment of the Thames Water structured utilty bond platform

  • The innovative Center Parcs CMBS refinancing initially arranged by RBS

  • Landmark capital relief transactions between UK banks and US sponsors

  • Credit Suisse commercial real estate loan portfolio sales to GE & Lone Star

  • The first corporate securitisation in contintental Europe, Elenia Oy

  • Blackstone’s European credit fund back leverage programme

  • Board approvals across Blackstone’s European credit origination platforms

  • Irish, Luxembourg and Cayman regulated and unregulated investment structures

Daniel is a qualified lawyer in England and in Ireland, an associate of the Irish Tax Institute and has held several regulated functions with the Financial Conduct Authority and Central Bank of Ireland (PCF approved). 

Daniel has extensive private capital Board experience and is a Certified Investment Fund Director and a member of the UK Institute of Directors.
